I used Anna Griffin dies as well as the tattered lace bow die! love all of these dies! Paper is Anna Griffin Christmas metallic. Card is 5x7. I've always done A2 cards until Anna's dies! they are all mostly 5x7 dies. The tag was taken from Anna Griffins Angelic Card Toppers from HSN.

Made it 3 weeks!

Hi friends!! I made it to week 3! Not sure I'll ever make this one again. at least not this way. I don't really like the looks of the poinsettias. I prefer them on vellum! but no time to correct. Next time I use these Heartfelt Creations dies I'll emboss on vellum and color from back! much prettier to work with!
I'll take a pic of inside later. just need outside for Facebook group!
Thanks for stopping by! hope you have a great week!

I'm actually working on Christmas cards!!

Hello friends! Happy new year! I can't believe I haven't posted here since October! I have mostly been posting on Facebook and have added some to Pinterest. But I love making Christmas cards and never enough time at Christmas so I've joined a Facebook thats calles "only Christmas cards" and we post a new card a week, so that by Christmas, hopefully I'll have 52 done! Love this idea! I'm actually on week 2, but am going to post week 1 and 2 at this time! This is the Facebook group if you'd like to join!
This first one was completed using my Todo and Anna Griffin embossing dies and metalllic paper.
This second one, I used my favorite Crafters Companion die and Cricut Explore for the wisemen and sentiment.

This one was more work and love how it turned out! The die was purchased from HSN.
Thanks for stopping by! Hope everyone had a nice holiday season and hope to see you next week!

My first designed Christmas Card!

Hello! I can't believe I'm already making Christmas cards. When Close to my Heart came out with their new catalogs, I fell in love with the White Pines Scrapbooking kit! to use for my cards!! I love the stamp set, for cards!

I designed this in Cricut Design Space! Here is a copy of it if you'd like to use! The paper is from CTMH White Pines Scrapbooking Kit! I loved that stamp set and couldn't wait to make this card! I designed it using the base of the stamp. Its all made with free files except the shape on the stamp set is from the new Cricut Artistry cart, found here: CTMH Cricut Artistry
Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!

My first quilled card!

Hello friends!
This is my first quilled card! Not my first Christmas card! I'm not sure I like quilling! even with the electric tool! It does take practice I'm sure, but took me forever. I know people tell me I'm a perfectionist and I never really believed it until you try to get the perfect quilled shape! I kept redoing the center to look perfect and it kept unrolling the way it wanted in the first place! Not sure if I'm doing it wrong? or thats just quilling?! anyone know? I planned on using this in my card class this month, but now I'm not sure. They keep saying they want to learn quilling, but not sure I'm the one to TEACH that one! I'll make another and see if I like it or get better at it!
Here is my card:
The red and B&T paper used is from the White Pines Scrapbooking Kit. I love this paper and the stamp set that came with it! I'll post the Christmas card I made with my favorite stamp from this set shortly. The bow is Anna Griffins! This was fairly simple. The inspiration for this card came from a Cards magazine I picked up at JoAnns. But it was an 8x6 card! way too big! so I used their measurements in DS and then reduced the whole card at once to get the proper measurements for the background on the tree layers. The Merry Christmas stamp is from My Acrylic Stamp set "santa claus"! love this stamp set! I've used it a lot! click on the "santa claus" it will take you there!
If you have the Cricut Explore, here is the free file for the base!  The label is from the CTMH Cricut Artbooking cartridge. If you don't have that cartridge it won't come up in the file and you can replace with your own. Or you can purchase here:  Thanks for stopping by!! If you use my file please show me what you did!!

And I love dream catchers, and there is one on the new Close to my Heart Artistry cartridge! Here is what I came up with! The stamp is from MayMay Made It! The Define Emotions stamp set! love it!
You can find the Artistry cartridge on my website here! You can also purchase the digital version, which works great for the Explore! the background paper is Close to my Heart Lagoon paper, my favorite color! The shimmer paper on top is Anna Griffin shimmer paper. Hope you can tell those are clouds cut in the background!

The new catalog is being released September 1st! can't wait to show you our new products! lots of new cards with new papers coming the 1st!
Thanks for stopping by! have a great week!

Welcome to my post for the CTMH Zoe Blog Hop!

If you've come from the talented Michelle Stewart's blog, you're inthe right place!
This is my shaker card made from the new Cricut Artistry cartridge and the Zoe Paper Packet, both of which can be purchased on my website, Click on the links to go directly to those items or click here to go to my website.

The shimmer trim is a  new color, Coral, item no. Z3088. I used the Fuse Tool to create the shaker part and filled with some sequins and birthday confetti I've had for quite some time but perfect for shakers! I realized the border on my gift was a little too small to place dimensional tape so the plastic card holder sealed with the Fuse was perfect! The "for you" stamp used is on the Stamp of the month set, which for the month of August you can purchase for $5 with a $50 purchase! Love this stamp set because it has so many much needed sentiments for cards! The bases for the stamps in both cards are also images on the Artistry Cart. The cup below is also on the new ARTISTRY cart! I created the heat band to wrap the card! by welding the two pieces together and gluing on the right!  Love this cartridge and paper!! I got the inspiration for the cup from! She has a link to the base card designed in DS! I created the wrap(? is that what its called?! hehe) by welding the 2 pieces together with a little strip down the middle to increase the size so I could glue the end together to wrap around the cup!

The ARTISTRY collection includes:
1 – Cartridge (700 images: Shapes, Layers, Banners, Borders, Backgrounds, and Font)
3 – My Acrylix® D-size Stamp Sets
1 – Enchantment Cardstock Combo Pack

There will be a full release of the BIG Annual catalog on September 1st.

You'll find all of the Cricut cartridges here! I used the newest here, Cricut Artistry. Not to be confused with Artiste! This is a brand NEW cartridge! It comes with 3 stamp sets and a set of the new paper colors! You can also purchase the  DIGITAL version  of the cartridge, but, unfortunately, you will have to wait for the arrival of your package that will come with a download code.

Also, there is a great special offer available for the month of August! A couple of new organizers that each come with a special free gift! Who doesn't love or need organizers

I love this CTMH Artfully Sent Cart!

Hello, my bloggy friends!Happy hump day!!
I made about 15 cards in 2 days with this CTMH Cricut Artfully Sent Cartridge and showed off at my monthly card class!

this is the inside of the Christmas Noel card.
This is the outside!
I made the outside using a pocket card on the cart. The inside is one of 50 pop-ups on the cart! I used Yuletide Carol papers for the Christmas card. I used Confetti Wishes for the birthday card. and Cotton candy and Paper Fundamentals for the Shopping and Handbag cards. The Paper Fundamentals come in a pack of 20 double-sided 12" × 12" sheets (2 each of 10 designs); same design on both sides, one side with glossy pattern. They are awesome papers. I almost hate using them!

This is the Stamp of the Month pamphlet! it was generously assembled by Cardmonkey Jarvis. I've sent you to her blog for a previous card, but its worth repeating. Also pictured in the pamphlet is a pic of the ribbon that comes free with a $50 order.
Thanks for stopping by! If you need any supplies please stop by my store!

My first card with CTMH Artfully Sent!

Hello friends!! I've been too busy to post lately! but just made a card with the Cricut CTMH Artfully Sent and CTMH Brushed paper.
The card is from page 37 of the handbook. I used  the sentiment page for the front and pop-up for the center! You can check out the new cartridge at Check out the Stamp of the month! I made this card with that stamp set!
I was inspired by Cardmonkey Jarvis at the cardmonkeysPaperjungle, and I love gazebos and this one just screamed gazebo to me! The gazebo is from Cricut cart "Spring Cottage", the main reason I bought the cart!! LOL I could not find the post where she made this, but I'm almost positive it was she, so maybe she posted on the CTMH MB. But I've directed you to her blog, because she is a great blog to follow!
Have a great week!! Hope to see you soon! Have a card class this week and will have more cards!

An Anna Griffin Sympathy card

Holy Moly! I can't believe I haven't posted since June! I just don't know where the time goes! My sister was just here for a week and a half! Great time but I'm exhausted! I even had to go back on steroids because now my allergies have flared up from being outside for so many days in a row! I'm allergic to everything outside!
Well, one of my friends lost her sister this last week, so I needed to make a card. I used the Anna Griffin All About Her card kit and a die from the Anna Griffin Lacy Trimmings dies embossing folders set.
I despise making sympathy cards, but Anna makes it fun!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great rest of the week!

Another Anna Griffin card - Wedding this time!

Hello friends,
I'm back with another card made using the Anna Griffin Lace trimmings dies and embossing folders on HSN! this one I made for a friends' wedding, but was unable to attend. I will have to mail! I had a problem with these on the new We R Memory Keepers AS Evolution Advanced Machine I just received. Couldn't get the embossing to work on the diecut at the time so I embossed the border with the embossing folder and the HAND CUT! Later, I was determined to make it work and played around until I got it to work with a shim! so this card is actually done with the embossing border alone and not the diecuts!

I also used the new Anna Griffin® Soft Hues Metallic Card Layers, very pretty shiny paper! The top note came from "all about her" cardmaking kit! The diecut layer beneath the tag layer is from the Lace trimmings dies set.
thanks for stopping by! hope you have a great week!

I won the birthday card division on the Facebook page "NSD2014"!

Hello friends!
I can't believe I won the division for birthday cards on the Facebook page "NSD 2014 Event"! Thank you Debbie for hosting!
This is my card!
I used the Anna Griffin embossing folders and dies, purchased at HSN, which can be found here. I love this set that cuts that awesome border as well as emboss it! The embossing folder is part of the same border just a different section of the folder! and I just chalked it until I liked the shade. The tag is made with CTMH Artiste cart and CTMH inkpad, Lagoon! my favorite CTMH color! the Cricut cartridge, CTMH Artiste, can be found on my CTMH page here! CTMH papers in various colors was also used. I dyed a Walmart ribbon with CTMH lagoon ink as well!!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week!

Another Ariana and Card in a Box

Hello friends! I made my MIL a mother's day card today! And I just don't think you can make a bad card with CTMH Ariana papers! Reminds me so much of Anna Griffin! They can be found here!
This boxcard pattern came from SVGCUTS. They make the BEST SVG's!!
The only thing I changed was the scalloped  edge on the title background. The embossing folder is Teresa Collins Ebosser Cabbage Rose. I did cut a couple of extra saucers for the cups base. not crazy about the white! I used the Cricut Explore to cut it out. The box base was 11.4" long just like their pattern. A little harder to size in the Explore, but like the way it cuts better and separates mats by color!!
Thanks for stopping by! hope you have a great week! and an even greater weekend!

Been busy lately!! lots to show you!

Hello friends and family!
I've been busy cardmaking this week! Got a couple of inspirational ideas from Facebook!

I saw a punch on the internet from Stampin Up and I thought, I can make that on the explore! I used a tag from Very Merry tags and a card base from Art Philosophy and welded them and since I was on Explore I added the score line! love that! Of course I used Ariana paperpack! love that paper! Reminds me of Anna Griffin paper. Since I designed on Cricut Design Space I can share the file!

Here I used Cotton Candy paperpack, the Flower Confetti Stamp set (CTMH is down right now so I can't link you to that product!) used the CTMH markers, Blush and Pear to color. I made a pile of these and gave them to the girls in their orders. I think they'll like them!

This is a silhouette file that I saved as an SVG and cut with Cricut Explore. I used Skylark paper pack.
Love these pleated cards! We're going to do this card in my monthly card class! I designed it in Cricut Design Space so can also share this one!

I used Ariana paperpack and Laughing Lola!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend!! Hope to see you next week!
