Welcome to my blog! I started scrapbooking to relieve stress, it's therapeutic! And of course to scrapbook my grandkids! I highly recommend it! Hope you get some inspiration and enjoy my creations as much as I love making them!
Hello friends! I've been playing with the new Cricut Artistry cart and I have been loving these shaker cards!! as if you couldn't tell, I know! And I love dream catchers, and there is one on the new Close to my Heart Artistry cartridge! Here is what I came up with! The stamp is from MayMay Made It! The Define Emotions stamp set! love it!
You can find the Artistry cartridge on my website here! You can also purchase the digital version, which works great for the Explore! the background paper is Close to my Heart Lagoon paper, my favorite color! The shimmer paper on top is Anna Griffin shimmer paper. Hope you can tell those are clouds cut in the background!
The new catalog is being released September 1st! can't wait to show you our new products! lots of new cards with new papers coming the 1st!
Thanks for stopping by! have a great week!
This is my shaker card made from the new Cricut Artistry cartridge and the Zoe Paper Packet, both of which can be purchased on my website, Click on the links to go directly to those items or click here to go to my website.
The shimmer trim is a new color, Coral, item no. Z3088. I used the Fuse Tool to create the shaker part and filled with some sequins and birthday confetti I've had for quite some time but perfect for shakers! I realized the border on my gift was a little too small to place dimensional tape so the plastic card holder sealed with the Fuse was perfect! The "for you" stamp used is on the Stamp of the month set, which for the month of August you can purchase for $5 with a $50 purchase! Love this stamp set because it has so many much needed sentiments for cards! The bases for the stamps in both cards are also images on the Artistry Cart. The cup below is also on the new ARTISTRY cart! I created the heat band to wrap the card! by welding the two pieces together and gluing on the right! Love this cartridge and paper!! I got the inspiration for the cup from http://kristascraftycorner.blogspot.com/2015/08/august-stamp-of-month-blog-hop-framed.html! She has a link to the base card designed in DS! I created the wrap(? is that what its called?! hehe) by welding the 2 pieces together with a little strip down the middle to increase the size so I could glue the end together to wrap around the cup!
There will be a full release of the BIG Annual catalog on September 1st.
You'll find all of the Cricut cartridges here! I used the newest here, Cricut Artistry. Not to be confused with Artiste! This is a brand NEW cartridge! It comes with 3 stamp sets and a set of the new paper colors! You can also purchase the DIGITAL version of the cartridge, but, unfortunately, you will have to wait for the arrival of your package that will come with a download code.
Also, there is a great special offer available for the month of August! A couple of new organizers that each come with a special free gift! Who doesn't love or need organizers!

I made the outside using a pocket card on the cart. The inside is one of 50 pop-ups on the cart! I used Yuletide Carol papers for the Christmas card. I used Confetti Wishes for the birthday card. and Cotton candy and Paper Fundamentals for the Shopping and Handbag cards. The Paper Fundamentals come in a pack of 20 double-sided 12" × 12" sheets (2 each of 10 designs); same design on both sides, one side with glossy pattern. They are awesome papers. I almost hate using them!
This is the Stamp of the Month pamphlet! it was generously assembled by Cardmonkey Jarvis. I've sent you to her blog for a previous card, but its worth repeating. Also pictured in the pamphlet is a pic of the ribbon that comes free with a $50 order.
Thanks for stopping by! If you need any supplies please stop by my store!
Hello friends!! I've been too busy to post lately! but just made a card with the Cricut CTMH Artfully Sent and CTMH Brushed paper.
The card is from page 37 of the handbook. I used the sentiment page for the front and pop-up for the center! You can check out the new cartridge at http://scrappinnanapuddin.ctmh.com/retail/product.aspx?sku=Z3017. Check out the Stamp of the month! I made this card with that stamp set!
I was inspired by Cardmonkey Jarvis at the cardmonkeysPaperjungle, and I love gazebos and this one just screamed gazebo to me! The gazebo is from Cricut cart "Spring Cottage", the main reason I bought the cart!! LOL I could not find the post where she made this, but I'm almost positive it was she, so maybe she posted on the CTMH MB. But I've directed you to her blog, because she is a great blog to follow!
Have a great week!! Hope to see you soon! Have a card class this week and will have more cards!
Hello blogger friends! I'm back with a recycled project this time. I don't know if you remember the wreath I made at Christmas, but I recycled it at Easter/spring and went from this tree on the following post :Rosette Tree and wreath
to this in the spring:
to this in the summer!!
But! now I see this summer one needs some flowers!! wasn't as noticeable on the spring?!
thanks for stopping by! hope you have a great weekend!!
Holy Moly! I can't believe I haven't posted since June! I just don't know where the time goes! My sister was just here for a week and a half! Great time but I'm exhausted! I even had to go back on steroids because now my allergies have flared up from being outside for so many days in a row! I'm allergic to everything outside!
Well, one of my friends lost her sister this last week, so I needed to make a card. I used the Anna Griffin All About Her card kit and a die from the Anna Griffin Lacy Trimmings dies embossing folders set.
I despise making sympathy cards, but Anna makes it fun!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great rest of the week!

I'm back with another card made using the Anna Griffin Lace trimmings dies and embossing folders on HSN! this one I made for a friends' wedding, but was unable to attend. I will have to mail! I had a problem with these on the new We R Memory Keepers AS Evolution Advanced Machine I just received. Couldn't get the embossing to work on the diecut at the time so I embossed the border with the embossing folder and the HAND CUT! Later, I was determined to make it work and played around until I got it to work with a shim! so this card is actually done with the embossing border alone and not the diecuts!
I also used the new Anna Griffin® Soft Hues Metallic Card Layers, very pretty shiny paper! The top note came from "all about her" cardmaking kit! The diecut layer beneath the tag layer is from the Lace trimmings dies set.
thanks for stopping by! hope you have a great week!
I can't believe I won the division for birthday cards on the Facebook page "NSD 2014 Event"! Thank you Debbie for hosting!
This is my card!
I used the Anna Griffin embossing folders and dies, purchased at HSN, which can be found here. I love this set that cuts that awesome border as well as emboss it! The embossing folder is part of the same border just a different section of the folder! and I just chalked it until I liked the shade. The tag is made with CTMH Artiste cart and CTMH inkpad, Lagoon! my favorite CTMH color! the Cricut cartridge, CTMH Artiste, can be found on my CTMH page here! CTMH papers in various colors was also used. I dyed a Walmart ribbon with CTMH lagoon ink as well!!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week!
Hello friends! I made my MIL a mother's day card today! And I just don't think you can make a bad card with CTMH Ariana papers! Reminds me so much of Anna Griffin! They can be found here!
This boxcard pattern came from SVGCUTS. They make the BEST SVG's!!
The only thing I changed was the scalloped edge on the title background. The embossing folder is Teresa Collins Ebosser Cabbage Rose. I did cut a couple of extra saucers for the cups base. not crazy about the white! I used the Cricut Explore to cut it out. The box base was 11.4" long just like their pattern. A little harder to size in the Explore, but like the way it cuts better and separates mats by color!!
Thanks for stopping by! hope you have a great week! and an even greater weekend!
Hello friends and family!
I've been busy cardmaking this week! Got a couple of inspirational ideas from Facebook!
I saw a punch on the internet from Stampin Up and I thought, I can make that on the explore! I used a tag from Very Merry tags and a card base from Art Philosophy and welded them and since I was on Explore I added the score line! love that! Of course I used Ariana paperpack! love that paper! Reminds me of Anna Griffin paper. Since I designed on Cricut Design Space I can share the file!
Here I used Cotton Candy paperpack, the Flower Confetti Stamp set (CTMH is down right now so I can't link you to that product!) used the CTMH markers, Blush and Pear to color. I made a pile of these and gave them to the girls in their orders. I think they'll like them!
This is a silhouette file that I saved as an SVG and cut with Cricut Explore. I used Skylark paper pack.
Love these pleated cards! We're going to do this card in my monthly card class! I designed it in Cricut Design Space so can also share this one!
I used Ariana paperpack and Laughing Lola!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend!! Hope to see you next week!
Hello Blogger Friends! Today I have another Card in a box to share with you! And it's once again Hello Kitty! This one is for my neice, who also loves Hello Kitty!
I used an svg on my new Cricut Explore for the card in a box base. the base is an SVG file I got from the Cricut Design Space Facebook page. I wanted to give them credit, but cannot now find it! I only know it came from there because I added the name CDS to the name to help me go back and find it! Lotta good that did, huh!? Hello Kitty was used for most of the rest! don'tcha just love Hello Kitty!?!! I used CTMH Lollydoodle paperpack for the base and the flaps. The gray base card is from Dream Pop as well as all of the colors of all of the images except bear and white when needed. I love the paperpack from CTMH for National Papercrafting Month last May, 2013 called Dream Pop! My favorite all-time CTMH Paperpack! I never thought of not having a place to sign when I made this very popular type card in a box! So since the package in the back looked kinda plain, I used that to sign!! Where do y'all sign these?!!
I also made a quick sympathy card for a friend that lost her dog this week.
I again, of course! used my new Cricut explore and the base and pattern came from the Butterfly Card from the "Creative Cards" cartridge. I just left off the butterflies. And added the Dog Ange SVG. I've had that svg so long I don't recall where it came from to give them credit! the embossing folder is form AG. For a quick card, didn't think it turned out too bad.
Thanks for stopping by, hope you got some inspiration from your visit! If you did, let me know what you think! I love hearing from you!
Hello friends, been a while since I last posted again! Hope you have not had too much snow! We have had quite a bit of ice in Texas this year! I know I'll be glad to see spring! and we haven't had it near as bad as folks in the north!
Well, I couldn't wait to try the new Card in a Box everyone loves making! The pattern I have is a little small, and wasn't sure how I was going to like it. Next one will be bigger, but I went ahead and decorated this one up for my DGD. This one does just fit into an A2 envelope! after adding the Hello Kitty and bunny, I might add!
I used an svg file from Lori Whitlock, (click on the link, will take you to that specific box) and cut it with the new CRICUT EXPLORE!! Love this machine!! and Lori Whitlocks files! Looked a little bare to me so added the flowers and Hello Kitty from the Cricut Hello Kitty cart! Love this Hello Kitty with the little bunny! The stamps on the flaps are from CTMH Rewards stamp set, a stamp set you can get by booking a party! The paper used is from Lollydoodle Paper Kit. Even the little eggs are from that pack.
Thanks for stopping by! I can now share this file through Cricut Explore, you will need the carts to cut the Hello Kitty and Straight from the Nest for the flowers, or I'm sure there are lots of grass images you could sub! The rest of it came with the svg file!
Have a great week!
