New projects! I've been gone a really long time!

 So glad to be back!! I've gone off to FB for a while. Seems that's where everyone is posting now?! and some on instagram. But it seems all the dies and crafts I love most are only on Facebook! But since I'm planning on getting on FB I decided to come back here! Are people still using Pinterest? I've always looked there too! 

I've been making cards to sell in a local shop in town. A really cute little shop. Some resale items and new as well as jewelry! 

These are a few of my new ones going in this week. Hope it inspires you somehow! These are from card kits by Anna Griffin with my own spin!

The napkins are made with her doily edge cut and emboss dies. I believe that is my favorite set of her dies!

Woohoo! I'm up to week 7!

Hello friends!! I'm up to week 7 in the christmas card event! I forgot to post last weeks and I've done this weeks and next already! I am so loving this!
Here is week 5

I love foiling the embossing folders! these are Anna Griffin dies and embossing folders that I foiled!

This is week 6 and 7!

They are both Anna Griffin backgrounds. The top one is an Anna Grifin die that I just LOVE! and the bottom is from a kit I bought 2 years ago!! I just added a little Tonic red glitter glue for the holly!

Woohoo! I'm up to week 4!!

Hello again! 2x in one week!!  I'm excited! and excited to have another Christmas card under my belt!

I used Anna Griffin dies as well as the tattered lace bow die! love all of these dies! Paper is Anna Griffin Christmas metallic. Card is 5x7. I've always done A2 cards until Anna's dies! they are all mostly 5x7 dies. The tag was taken from Anna Griffins Angelic Card Toppers from HSN.

Artistry and Dream Catchers!

Hello friends! I've been playing with the new Cricut Artistry cart and I have been loving these shaker cards!! as if you couldn't tell, I know! And I love dream catchers, and there is one on the new Close to my Heart Artistry cartridge! Here is what I came up with! The stamp is from MayMay Made It! The Define Emotions stamp set! love it!

You can also purchase the digital version, which works great for the Explore! the background paper is Close to my Heart Lagoon paper, my favorite color! The shimmer paper on top is Anna Griffin shimmer paper. Hope you can tell those are clouds cut in the background!

50th Anniversary Card for my friend!

Hello again my friends! Tonight I have a 50th anniversary card that I made for some friends of ours from the Lions Club. That has to be like 80 wife years doesn't it!? Hope they like!

I used CTMH Art Philosophy for the card base! love that cart, it has a bunch, I'm guessing close to 50! different card shapes! The metallic paper is from Anna Griffin. The stripe that was used to make the rosette is from her set of "pleating papers" I got from HSN last year, maybe even Christmas 2012. I've been saving it, like everything Anna I have! The embossing folder is Cricut Quatrefoil, my new favorite embossing folder! That just looks good behind everything to me! The frame around the 50 is from elegant edges, and the 50 is from Life's a party cricut cartridge. The ribbon behind the rosette is from Walmart I believe! Thats where I get most of my ribbon these days. You can't beat their price! The "Happy Anniversary" stamp is CTMH's D1539, The Happy couple Occasions stamp set, you can get here!

OMG! I can't believe it's been so long since I posted!

Happy New Year, friends!!! Hope you are keeping warm! Luckily I'm in Texas, and its relatively cold, but I know it doesn't compare to the north!! I'm from there so I know how cold it gets!! I don't miss it, I have to tell you!
I guess I didn't realize I'd only been posting on Facebook CTMH pages and a couple on my personal page or on Pinterest! I've been really busy with Card classes and cards for sale at local businesses. Haven't gotten them to the stores yet, as they are still a work in progress, but have a couple of places to take them if I ever get enough of them finished. Just found out a little before Thanksgiving and had a pile of them finished when the ice storm hit! They never made it to the locations! But I'm already ahead for next year, except I used a bunch of the cards for my personal cards since they were already complete! And the Christmas season was so short, just not enough time! I'd made a bunch of cards for the card classes but not enough!
I'll start with loading the newest projects first!
First, my father-in-laws birthday was last week. He's big into fishing, so:

My daughter had a birthday in December before Christmas:

The purse was cut with Silhouette cameo, CTMH for always paper pack, card from Cricut Art Philosophy I think. The purse is from The Luxury Handbags SVG Kit at SVGCUTS. Love their files. I purchase a lot of them. The purses here are used a lot as well as this lamp! from SVGCUTS also, here.

Some of my Christmas projects from my card class and a wreath for fun!

 These snowglobes are a combination of cricut, Peach Keen Stamps and Silhouette files! and Anna Griffin embossing folder for the globe part! This was really fun to make and came out soooo cute!

 My card class ladies wanted one of these! So I cut out alllll those rosettes and we had a blast making these trees!

This would have been a lot easier and would have gone together faster with my cameo because they could have been cut at 12" except I like the shape of this one from the cricut Rosette cart.  Love the poinsettias on the Anna Griffin cartridge! This probably took close to 10 or 12 hours to make due to each rosette being in 4 pieces each that had to be glued together!

I'll come back and add instructions for any and all if anyone visits and remarks that they are interested!! Lots of fun! and lots of work! and I enjoy every minute of it!
