Hello bloggers!  Happy Monday! Its my day to post on Cricut Fanatics and I wanted to share my new obsession! I love making these little gift enclosure card sets with the purse and I make them for the Azle Lions Club raffle! I love to see the ladies all hoping that they get their number drawn first, because the purse and cards are always first to go! I make all kinds of colors and patterns but this one is my favorite.

The purse was cut on CCR using CTMH Artiste cart at 5.7x10.35 will hold the 3x3 cards perfectly. The doily was stamped and embossed using the CTMH Doily as well as the Celebrate. The butterfly is a MS butterfly punch. These make awesome gift enclosure cards and the little purse can also be used for a small gift or make a few for favors if you are maybe having a bridal shower?! The ladies at Lions love the little purse best! Me too!! All the card were cut at 3x6 using the rounded card on the Artiste cartridge also! Best cartridge Cricut/CTMH made, IMHO! If this cart doesn't have it, you don't need it, I always say!! LOL!

This is the same purse, cut a little bigger to hold the butterfly cards which are 3x4. CTMH Cricut Art Philosophy was used to make these. I used "hide contour" to move the butterflies where I wanted them! So I could emboss the butterfly in white on the front, the stamp also from CTMH. The paper was cut with white Colorbok paper and colored with gelatos! if you haven't tried gelatos, you are missing some fun! You can make any color you want or need!

Want to make some quick Gift enclosure cards?

I made a few quick Christmas gift cards  to add to a few Christmas gifts for family and friends with this great new stamp set!

Very quick and easy. You don't even really need a cricut! I wanted to make it all by hand to show my card class, most of which don't have cricuts! I just cut a 3x6 piece of kraft, you could use a large piece of scrap, and punched using the CTMH scalloped circle punch out of kraft also. Stamped it with the stamp from the October Stamp of the Month set (shown below) and distressed the edge of the scallop and the card with CTMH cranberry stamp pad. Cut a piece of the CTMH Pear and Partridge paper at 2 3/4 x2 3/4" and placed on card, then added the scallop. I then stamped the mitten from the same stamp of the month set with the Cranberry stamp pad and then cut with scissors. You could also cut it with the cricut first at 2 1/2 and then stamp. Added the twine for some more color!

The October stamp of the month is a total must have! It is called Very Merry Christmas and coordinates with the Artiste cartridge, so if you have that cartridge you are going to want to snatch this up! It makes tag making a total snap!

 Now don't forget that you can still buy the fabulous Artiste and Art Philosophy cartridges, so if you have not purchased either of these yet, you need to consider it! In my opinion, if you have a cricut, you need these carts! As I say to my clients, "if they don't have it, you don't need it!" I use these 2 carts for everything now! They are the only 2 carts I take to crops! And I have a gypsy!

Artiste Create a Critter 2 Night Light!

Hello my friends and hope you had a great long weekend! Probably the last time we'll swim this year at my daughters! Except its still 100+ degrees here in TX! Hope its cooler where you are!

This project was inspired by the Create A Critter 2 contest posted on the cricut.com website. You can find the rules here! The 5 images are only free until Sept. 5th, so you best hurry if you want to enter!

My DGD loves Halloween! anything Halloween! and she loves night lights! so, I combined those 2 ideas and came up with this for the contest!

This was created in CCR! Woohoo! Everything worked! With the E2! Didn't open the Imagine! I am still using build 132 for everything, because the update doesn't play well with the Imagine!

The box is from the CTMH Cricut Artiste cart, page 34. Love that cart! If it doesn't have "it" you don't need it! LOL! If you'd like to purchase one, you can order directly on my CTMH webpage! I stretched it to 11.4 inches wide and long. Makes the box about 4 inches tall and about 2 3/4 inches wide. Perfect size! Each image cut is 2-3 inches tall.  When I welded the images from CAC2 it "hid" the score lines. But thats ok because they usually leave nasty little holes where you don't want them! But it made it tough to know where to fold the top edges to match up! But it came out great! I used black Walmart COLORBOK paper and welded the images to the box. Added a couple of extra little ghosts to add to the top for decoration. Lined it with vellum and colored it yellow behind the haunted house. the fence in front of the ghost is from Haunted House cart! This is the best cart for Halloween! Besides TC Halloween cart, but I don't have that one! The digital one is on sale at Cricut.com if you are interested! That's a great cart, just haven't found anything on it I can't make do with this HH cart! Its tied at the top with some twine from my stash, so she can easily open it to turn the little electric light on inside. The light is one of those that come 3 in a pack and you can get cheap at J's or M's. Can't remember now where I got mine. But they were cheap. Isn't that little ghost just the cutest with that patch!
