Of course, I made these with the Imagine, this was from All Wrapped Up! IMHO, if you have an Imagine you NEED this cart! its like TBBM! Maybe better, because you don't have to choose your colors and layout different pages or colors! I did cut this in layers. I like the layered look so you KNOW its handmade! The bag is from Imagine Greeting Cards Inside and Out cart, flood filled with same pattern and layered the topnote on that also. I made 4 cards for the set to add to the bag. The flowers on the bag are from Tuesday morning by Making Memories.  The ribbons are from Walmart. Couldn't decide if I liked the ribbon at the top or the bottom so I did both and didn't glue down. Its pretty tight. The embossing on the front is done with Stampendous Gold. I made these for a raffle for the Lions Club! the ladies there all love all my card sets. Everybody now buys more tickets!! Woohoo! They want me to sell them and I may after a few more have been won! Makes the club more money!! Then I'll make some! Its really been fun! Most of the time I make a box with my Cameo but wanted to use a cricut cut with the Imagine.  I was also able to do all this in CCR!!! Love CCR when it works with Imagine!! A match made in heaven. Would like it to work the same way on my Gyspy, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen!! (the main reason I bought the Imagine :(  )

Triple Post!! Last Cricut Circle Challenge!

Hello again friends! Well I told you in the last post I was a busy lady at my grandsons! And I'm so glad my Imagine is cooperating! Its awesome fun!

This is a color challenge! The colors on the blog that they want you to use do not match what she used to make her project but the papers I wanted to use matches the papers she shows she used! I'll show you both if I can! This is the challenge!

I made this little box and card for my DD. I'm working on some notecards to add to the box before Mothers day! But I was afraid I'd run out of time before I got those made since this is due on Friday and I have a bazillion (is that a word!? feels like a bazillion whether it is or not! hehe) things to do before that! But hopefully have time on Saturday to make a few things for my DD's inlaws and DDIL who will all be there as well!
Anyhoo...I used All Wrapped Up (love this cart! its like TBBM but with colors! I think its a must have cart if you have an Imagine! (Enabler Alert! it's still available on cricut.com, not sure if anyone, or Ebay, has it!) It has the card and the box and the tag, I just changed the colors on the tag to match the papers and welded Homemade Just for you to it which printed it on there (whew! sometimes that doesn't work so good! Sometimes it'll cut that out!). The Mothers Day phrase is from the Mothers Day 2010 cart. I used the MS ribbon punch and punched around the base so I could string ribbon thru it! The ribbon is only $.50 at Walmart, but they had it at Michaels last week too for that! It makes easy bows for some reason. Those little loops help somehow I reckon!

My project for the hop is a Christmas Tree Mini Album! I really had a hard time deciding what kind of project to do and I wanted to do a Winter card and a Christmas project, and then the Cricut Circle posted their challenge and that made up my mind for me! I can post that there and here! One of my favorite projects is a mini album and my favorite subject is Christmas!! If you are a follower you might remember that I made a stocking mini last year at this time! but it was a lot harder because we couldn't use Santa or Christmas!!! Try doing ANYTHING at Christmas without using one of those words! AND I had to design it first!  Cricut didn't have a stocking shape to use for that until AFTER I did that book. Now they have one and would have saved so much time! But it was fun and I learned a lot! This time I used a white mini book from Michaels that I've had since last Christmas!  I did this one in less than 3 days!! (Last years took me close to a week!) I would have never gotten it completed that fast without the new Imagine "Santa's Village". Most of the cuts are from that cart! My favorite tool for this book (besides the Imagine!!) was the Sakura glitter pen! I glittered up Santas beard and the HO HO HO on the front, as well as the little soldier! I used it everywhere I wanted glitter except the buttons on the gingerbread man and Rudolphs nose. That was just Glossy Accents topped with glitter. This book was a lot of fun! 
I did make a charm that has the Santa bust on 1 side and a gingerbread man on the other, using Tim Holtz fragments and Glossy Accents! In the first pic at the top left of the tree you can see the gingerbread man side. On the last pic you can see the Santa side.

MPS Challenge #4: Make something with a Mother's Day Theme! submission

I have entered another one of MPS challenges. I've been busy all day with projects. I made some Easter albums for my kids coming tomorrow with Easter pics of their kids! I used the "your story" mini and they came out super cute!  And had a garage sale with Lions club And attended a neighborhood party next door and got home just in time to make a mothers day card!! Which I just happened to need anyway! woot! woot!  MPS Giveaway #4
 

 

I always feel like I cheat when I use the Imagine for challenges! But that doesn't stop me!!! This card base is from Imagine All Wrapped up. The glitter paper is from Walmart. I love their glitter paper because it cuts so nice on the cricuts. Some are just too thick. The card was cut at 7" I believe. The happy mothers day  is from MS Seasonal Cake cart.
