I got my inspiration for this house from Erica's blog hop last week, at KraftyKaboos.blogspot.com. Check her out if you get a chance! She did an awesome job and thought my Imagine could do wonders with this and my DGD would love, love, love it!! I have made cards with the kids from Best Friends in the windows and love how easy the Imagine makes that! I kinda wish I'd made it big enough for her Barbie! But didn't want to go overboard. She'll love it anyway!

I used the Sweet Tooth Boxes cart and cut the shop at 11" and flood filled it with the papers from Yummy Imagine cart. The tables shown are what's on the walls inside you can see thru the windows! They are made from Kate's Kitchen (not to be used yet in CCR!!!?) As I said the kids are from Best Friends, the gifts are from Yummy. Love that cart! The couple on the back is from Sweethearts I believe!

Silhouette Cameo arrives today!! and Decorative Letter Challenge!

I love how my projects always seem to correlate with the Cricut Circle challenges! This weeks Challenge #54: Decorative Letter Challenge, just so happened to come along when I needed a few cards for the grandkids and family friends' kids! This little "girl" loves dinosaurs and can't believe her baby sister loves dolls! its hilarious to watch her tell her sister she can't bring that "thing" in her house! They are 5 and 2! So I came up with this:

Create a scrapbook page, card, home decor item, or other project where you include a word of your choice. One or more of the letters in your chosen word must be replaced by a Cricut shape. For example, replace the letter “o” in the word LOVE with a heart.
I used CCR and Imagine Hopscotch  for the background and Create a Critter for the title and dino. The dino is on a wobble! She loved it! Oh yea, and the hat is a banner from Imagine Yummy I flipped and added some glitter stars! She's only 5!
In other news on the homefront! I have a Silhouette Cameo arriving today!!! woohoo!! I'll get back to you on that! I love my cricuts but I've been very disappointed in them and CCR lately! and I love the Print and Cut feature on my very testy Imagine so I thought I'd give it a whirl with the Cameo!

This is my submission for the weekly challenge on the circle blog and the rules:

Weekly Challenge #33: Sweet Summertime Challenge!

The Challenge: What makes summertime “sweet” to you? Ice cream treats? Watermelon? Popsicles? Whatever it is we want you to include the shape of your favorite summertime sweet treat on your project. But that’s not all! Raid your stamp stash and incorporate them somewhere on your project as well. Have fun!
Rules and Guidelines: Circle Blog Challenges are open to Cricut Circle Members only. Your project must be newly created for this challenge and include atleast 2 Cricut Image Cuts. You must submit a project to be entered into the Challenge Prize Drawing. One entry per person, please.
Winner: The winner will be selected randomly from qualifying entries using www.random.org and will be announced on the Cricut Circle Blog on Friday, June 10th, 2011.

 The paper is from DCVW Nana's Kitchen. The glitter paper is from Walmarts glitter stack. The ice cream and cupcake and   "celebrate " and "enjoy tag " are from Cricut Imagine Yummy. I used "Delta Ceramcoat Sparkle Glaze " mixed with Ranger/Tim Holtz Distress Ink "tea dye " to make the chocolate drizzled on the ice cream! It looks really cool! Looks like chocolate with glittery sprinkles!! I tried to upload the picture of it but blogger is not functioning again! Lucky I got this pic before it crashed!

MPS Challenge #8 Summer themed project submission!

The prize for this one is some MPS stamps!! Love them! I should have started with this one! I'm getting pooped, even on steroids! (for bad allergies!)

Challenge #8--Make a summer themed project! 

I went back to my trustie Imagine and Yummy! That cart is full of yummy cool summer stuff! Everything was done on the Imagine except the card base. I used DCVW summer textured card stock. I don't really care for white core paper for my cards, they tend to fray more, IMHO! and then you have the white side to cover which I used my new MS glitter markers. LOVE them!! And the color is way off here in the pic. Its way closer to the color of the top note behind the ice cream I also used them on the borders of the pieces. I used "Scribbles 3D paint" in Glittering Crystal for the topping and of course stickles! I should have sealed it so the paint wouldn't run into the Imagine colors.  This was the first time I used it on the Imagine and was hoping it wouldn't run like the clear stickles, but it did. And I'm kinda on a deadline! So here's my submission. Sure hope this is random!!

Welcome to the "Getting Ready for Valentine's Blog Hop!"

Welcome to my stop on the Getting Ready for Valentine's Day Blog hop!! I had a really hard time getting my mojo back after the holidays!

I'm glad you stopped by! I hope you will find some inspiration here and on some of the the other blogs along the way!!! I'm so honored to be among such talented ladies! Here is my project. Valentine's day is special to us because it was our first date! In HS! We've been together 43 years this year! Unbelievable!

I changed the bluish green page, didn't care for the yellow, I think it was, on there. My husband is a "hog" man. He has a Harley.  He's not a foo-foo kinda guy! And he loves Hershey kisses! So I though "hogs and kisses" was very appropriate!!

My Recipe:

Yummy Imagine Cart for the Kisses. They are the cupcake tops!! As soon as I saw those I thought "Kisses"!
I cut the tires and the seat and handle bars from vinyl to more like leather. I think I would have liked this bike better had it had a shadow! (I should have put Harley on the bike too! but my granddaughter is here and don't have time to do it! If she falls asleep early I'll be back! If you don't see it on here when this is posted I didn't get to it! I've got this scheduled to post in time for the hop and not sure I'll make it back!)

Now for the blog candy! The real reason you might be here! I have a pile of goodies! There's a Tattered Angels "Romance" glimmer screens, and a cuttlebug folder "Textiles", one of my favorite! There's some stamps, stickers, Thickers, canvas flowers, rub-ons.... quite a variety! And I have included the gypsy stylus to show the lanyard.
