Hi fellow bloggers! Welcome to my weekly submission for the Cricut Circle blog AND the Cricut Cardz Challenge which can be found here. I wasn't real crazy about the eyes on Tinkerbell but I've seen on the message board that they call them "evil" unless you cut it extra large. Well, I started out at 3" but could not cut any pieces at all. Tried cut and color on my Imagine and Post it paper to help with the little pieces. NOT! don't even try! Then I tried at 4 1/2. NOT! at 5" at least there was something that wasn't chewed up by the blade but not much! I went with 5" because I didn't want the bookmark any bigger for Faith. I made Chance a couple of bookmarks and Faith then of course wanted one and since this challenge came up and she LOVES Tinkerbell, I thought I'd make it for this challenge as well!
The Challenge: Include a Fairytale or Folklore figure in your project (princesses, gnomes, etc.)
I welded the Tinkerbell to the "READ" tag and background from Mickey and Friends. I cut the background from white Post-It paper and then sprinkled with the Hologram Embossing powder. Same for the wings. And of course then used Swiss Dots to emboss the bottom portion. Thanks for looking! Have a great weekend! I'll be back shortly with my Circle Blog Monthly Magazine submission. I made some 3x3 calling card for that. Won't be making too many! Too many pieces!!
