I love these dies from Carnation Crafts! I order them from Createandcraft.com/us. They have the most awesome dies! I will try to post some more of the creations with their dies! The workbench is made with all Carnationcrafts.com/uk. The car is actually a file I got from SVGCUTS.com  Hope I've inspired you! These were lots of fun

Thanks for stopping by! hope to see you soon!

New projects! I've been gone a really long time!

So glad to be back!! I've gone off to FB for a while. Seems that's where everyone is posting now?! and some on instagram. But it seems all the dies and crafts I love most are only on Facebook! But since I'm planning on getting on FB I decided to come back here! Are people still using Pinterest? I've always looked there too!

I've been making cards to sell in a local shop in town. A really cute little shop. Some resale items and new as well as jewelry!

These are a few of my new ones going in this week. Hope it inspires you somehow! These are from card kits by Anna Griffin with my own spin!

The napkins are made with her doily edge cut and emboss dies. I believe that is my favorite set of her dies!

Thanks for stopping by! Come back soon! have more to post today yet!

One of my favorite kind of cards! Snowglobes!

Hello friends, I'm back with week 44 in our Christmas project a week on FB!
I love Snowglobes! and Heartfelt Creations! and Tattered lace! and this card combines all 3! This one is my fav!

The base is a Snowglobe die set from Tattered lace, which also included the background mountains and the holly and ivy.  The snowman is from Heartfelt Creations Snowkissed collection! Isn't he adorable! The stamp of the couple on the sleigh is from the same collection, as well as the green trees in the background. The little sign post that says Our house is another separate tattered lace die! you can't see that the ornaments and banner on the bottom are cut in gold!

Here are another couple of cards made with the same Tattered lace dies!!

Isn't that nativity scene awesome!! These dies all sold out within an hour, so they are no longer available on Createandcraft.com but they may show up on Ebay?

Thanks for stopping by!! Hope you have a great weekend!!

First card with Flower Market cartridge flowers!

Wow! I can't believe I haven't posted here since March!! I've been making cards, but haven't taken the time to post here! shame on me! this is the first card I've made using the new CTMH Cricut Flower Market cartridge! I didn't think I'd like this cart because I couldn't see needing 700 flowers! Hehe But its not all flowers!! I love this cart!
I used the new gorgeous Sea Glass, the new paper of the year from CTMH! love it!
I'm worried about it being too much sea glass? I made the mason jar that big because I wanted to emboss it with a mason jar embossing folder! do you se it?! I also embossed flowers on the jar, it looked too plain to me. And I have some of the mason jars with designs!!  The stamped "thinking of you" on the front is stamped with gold ink, but looks silver here! Do you think its too much see glass? The gold polka-dotted vellum is from the "uptown fundamental" pack. The "Sea Glass" is the new color of the year! love it!! They have that color in all types of media, check it out here! The mason jar image as well as the topper and the flower on the new "CTMH Flower Market Cricut" cartridge! The embossing folder was purchased at Hobby Lobby, its a Darice folder!
Thanks for stopping by! Hope to see you soon! have a great rest of the week!
If you have an explore and would like to make this card, here is the file!  https://us.cricut.com/design/#/canvas/44608743

Mother's Day card!

Hello friends,
I've just completed a couple of mother's day cards and I'm proud enough of this card to post it for sale! My friends are always asking if I'll make them for sale and I usually say no except at Christmas. But this one is too pretty to keep to myself! I made 1 for a friend and she loved it so much I decided to make more!
The top layer is embossed vellum, using Anna Griffin spring embossing folder called "Peacock Damask. The pink papers are metallic Anna Griffin papers.
Here is a close up of the embossed vellum and strip behind "Mom" that matches.

An Anniversary Card for my Daughter!

Hello friends!
Finally something NOT Christmas! I made this for my daughters' 20th wedding anniversary! I can't believe its already 20 years!

The card base is made using a Cricut Explore file. I then made the inside attached easel base and wrote with the explore and an Anna Griffin writing font. The die on the front is a tattered lace die that came with their issue no. 26 or 27 magazine this month! I got that the same day I decided to make the card. It was the inspiration actually, then I just scoured cricut for a card to use it on and I thought this one was perfect!! The bow and the doves are from the same die, just cut apart! If you have an explore and would like the file I'll attach it here! It is included in Cricut Access, but if you don't have the Anna Griffin font you can substitute another font! The paper is also Anna Griffin!

Made it 3 weeks!

Hi friends!! I made it to week 3! Not sure I'll ever make this one again. at least not this way. I don't really like the looks of the poinsettias. I prefer them on vellum! but no time to correct. Next time I use these Heartfelt Creations dies I'll emboss on vellum and color from back! much prettier to work with!
I'll take a pic of inside later. just need outside for Facebook group!

This second one, I used my favorite Crafters Companion die and Cricut Explore for the wisemen and sentiment.

My first designed Christmas Card!

Hello! I can't believe I'm already making Christmas cards. When Close to my Heart came out with their new catalogs, I fell in love with the White Pines Scrapbooking kit! to use for my cards!! I love the stamp set, for cards!

I designed this in Cricut Design Space! Here is a copy of it if you'd like to use! https://us.cricut.com/design/#/canvas/30680497 The paper is from CTMH White Pines Scrapbooking Kit! I loved that stamp set and couldn't wait to make this card! I designed it using the base of the stamp. Its all made with free files except the shape on the stamp set is from the new Cricut Artistry cart, found here: CTMH Cricut Artistry
Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!

My first quilled card!

Hello friends!
This is my first quilled card! Not my first Christmas card! I'm not sure I like quilling! even with the electric tool! It does take practice I'm sure, but took me forever. I know people tell me I'm a perfectionist and I never really believed it until you try to get the perfect quilled shape! I kept redoing the center to look perfect and it kept unrolling the way it wanted in the first place! Not sure if I'm doing it wrong? or thats just quilling?! anyone know? I planned on using this in my card class this month, but now I'm not sure. They keep saying they want to learn quilling, but not sure I'm the one to TEACH that one! I'll make another and see if I like it or get better at it!
Here is my card:
The red and B&T paper used is from the White Pines Scrapbooking Kit. I love this paper and the stamp set that came with it! I'll post the Christmas card I made with my favorite stamp from this set shortly. The bow is Anna Griffins! This was fairly simple. The inspiration for this card came from a Cards magazine I picked up at JoAnns. But it was an 8x6 card! way too big! so I used their measurements in DS and then reduced the whole card at once to get the proper measurements for the background on the tree layers. The Merry Christmas stamp is from My Acrylic Stamp set "santa claus"! love this stamp set! I've used it a lot! click on the "santa claus" it will take you there!
If you have the Cricut Explore, here is the free file for the base! https://us.cricut.com/design/#/canvas/32252279  The label is from the CTMH Cricut Artbooking cartridge. If you don't have that cartridge it won't come up in the file and you can replace with your own. Or you can purchase here: http://scrappinnanapuddin.ctmh.com/Retail/Product.aspx?ItemID=8547  Thanks for stopping by!! If you use my file please show me what you did!!
