One more Angel for my tree!

Hope everyone is just about ready for Christmas! Its coming whether we're ready or not I reckon! I got finished, now helping my poor daughter that works way too many hours! Getting ready to run to run to Wally world for her in just a minute, in fact, and hopefully buy the last of my food for Christmas Eve!
My Christmas tree is all angels! even the ribbon! I couldn't  believe it when I even found Angel ribbon! Its in the pic. The Cricut Circle challenge this time is: Ornament Challenge! For this challenge we want to see you create an ornament using the cricut!
I've been wanting to make some of these angels for my tree ever since I got this cart! Its from the Christmas Noel cart, which was even a freebie for the gypsy! but I am loving Cricut Craftroom and used it, I had the cart already!
I used the Expression2 and DCVW white glitter paper  and pearlescent white paper by Colorbok from Walmart. Cut both liner and intricate cuts at 5". It barely cuts the bottom! They need to tell you it should be cut at at least 5"! I cut 2 liners and 2 glitter intricate cuts but really only needed 1 liner because its shiny on both sides! Hope this helps you if you decide to make some! It certainly doesn't look glittery in the picture, but its really pretty IRL!!
Good luck to all my Circle friends! Thanks for stopping by and leaving me some comments, good or bad! Just so I know you were here! Love to hear from y'all!!
Have a Very Merry Christmas!! (In case I don't make it back before Christmas!)

Welcome to the "Getting Ready for Valentine's Blog Hop!"

Welcome to my stop on the Getting Ready for Valentine's Day Blog hop!! I had a really hard time getting my mojo back after the holidays!

I'm glad you stopped by! I hope you will find some inspiration here and on some of the the other blogs along the way!!! I'm so honored to be among such talented ladies! If you have come from Tx Scrapper Mom  then you are in the right place. If you just happened to stop by and want to start at the beginning, go to Kathryn's inspiring blog here!

Here is my project. Valentine's day is special to us because it was our first date! In HS! We've been together 43 years this year! Unbelievable!

I changed the bluish green page, didn't care for the yellow, I think it was, on there. My husband is a "hog" man. He has a Harley.  He's not a foo-foo kinda guy! And he loves Hershey kisses! So I though "hogs and kisses" was very appropriate!!

My Recipe:
Imagine More Cards for the base "heart shaped"card.
Christmas for the "Happy"
Designers Calendar for the "Valentine's day"
Cars for the road under the motorcycle
EDPD for the motorcycle
Just Because Cards for the "hogs and kisses"
Yummy Imagine Cart for the Kisses. They are the cupcake tops!! As soon as I saw those I thought "Kisses"!
I cut the tires and the seat and handle bars from vinyl to more like leather. I think I would have liked this bike better had it had a shadow! (I should have put Harley on the bike too! but my granddaughter is here and don't have time to do it! If she falls asleep early I'll be back! If you don't see it on here when this is posted I didn't get to it! I've got this scheduled to post in time for the hop and not sure I'll make it back!)

Now for the blog candy! The real reason you might be here! I have a pile of goodies! There's a Tattered Angels "Romance" glimmer screens, and a cuttlebug folder "Textiles", one of my favorite! There's some stamps, stickers, Thickers, canvas flowers, rub-ons.... quite a variety! And I have included the gypsy stylus to show the lanyard. If you'd like one of them, the lucky winner can choose to have one in the colors of her choice!

All you have to do for a chance to win is leave a comment telling me what y'all do on Valentine's day! Do you make homemade cards for your hubby?! Thanks for stopping by!! Good luck!

If you get lost here is the list of stops on this hop! Be sure and stop by all! there is lots of inspiration to be had and some great projects with blog candy!!

Circut Circle Monthly Submission

NOVEMBER CIRCLE MONTHLY CHALLENGE: HOME SWEET HOME
The theme for this month’s challenge is all about cozying up your home with Handmade Home Decor! Please create a home decor project. Project must be newly created for this challenge and should include the following elements to qualify:
  • Use atleast one Cricut Cartridge Cut
  • Use the Cuttlebug in some way (embossing folder, Cuttlebug die, Quilling kit, etc.)
  • Use Felt in some way
  • Use the color GREEN somewhere on your project

I created these advent trees for my grandkids! Chance loves the color blue so I made his tree blues and greens! Had to have 1 color from Christmas!! Faith chose pink, I haven't completed hers yet, because I have more time to give her hers. Chance and Joslyn I need tomorrow, because I won't see them again before the 1st. They've already been asking for them! Joslyn gets the red and green one. This is her first year. She's 3 going on 10! She'll be 4 in March and I just couldn't take one to Chance and Faith and she not get one! She's a close friend of the family, actually she is my SIL's neice. I made the sour cream containers, with a little help from a paper crimper, a little bigger this year because 4x6 just wasn't big enough for much. I got the inspiration from Christmas with the Cricut  last year. They have awesome idea for all things crafts, mostly with the cricut, but not always, now year round! I wanted to put little Matchbox cars in some of Chances and you need 6x6 for those. I cut all the papers at 6x6 and trimmed off the end after I fit what I wanted, just sealing up one of each side to start, then after trimming used a quick dry glue and punched the hole and ran the ribbon and card thru. The numbered cards are from Designers Calendar! Sure wish I had that last year!! I designed them all by welding them all!! I embossed the white card square behind the number that was cut from Christmas cheer with my cuttlebug using the Snowflake folder. The scalloped card background portion is also from Christmas cheer. All was cut with the Imagine using cut only. I used Gypsy to put all the numbers on 1 page. The felt is the skirt under the tree. They are loaded with all kinds of little toys and stickers! Joslyn loves dinosaurs so hers has quite a few dinosaurs. There's moolah in some of the packages too for those that are ready for it!!

Thanks for visiting! Wish me luck. Winner gets a YUDU!! Woohoo! Luckily it is chosen at random or I wouldn't stand a chance against the competition out there!

Big Thanksgiving hugs to you all!!  I'll see you on the next blog hop in a couple of weeks unless I get some cards completed!

Hello! Thanks for stopping by my blog! I am so happy to be included in the Cricut Circle Blog Hop "Christmas with a Twist" with some the most talented people in the craft world! The twist is that you can't use Santa or snowmen! You know how hard it is to do a whole mini-book for Christmas without them?!!

My granddaughter wants this book!!

I made this stocking mini-book using my Expression and cereal boxes! The cartridges used were Christmas Cheer, Christmas Noel, PDDU and JOTS. I will add the gypsy file as soon as I clean it up! If you need it before I get it posted, please email me!

If you hopped here from the very talented Lori at Scrappinmystressaway then you're in the right place!! When you are finished here, hop on over to the very crafty Mrs. Green's blog at greengirlscraps Be sure to hop along to all of the blogs as there is some blog candy in it for you! AND you can get some great ideas to create your own holiday goodies!!!

Now, onto the real reason you stopped by!! I have some blog candy for you! The winner will be chosen by random.org on Wednesday, the 17th at noon! If I get more than 100 followers I will choose another winner with a surprise giveaway! The winner will receive this Circle Border Punch from Fiskars and a Beaded bookmark! When you win you can tell me the colors you want and if you want it sized for a paperback book or hardbound book! Or a small lanyard size for your gypsy pen! Your choice of colors!

Here's how to win:

1) Please leave me a comment and be sure to leave information where you can be reached if you win!
2) Become a follower if you aren't already!
3) For an extra chance, post it on your blog and add another post telling me you did!

Thanks for stopping by, now head over to Mrs. Greens! I hope you find something that inspires you and gets you in the Christmas spirit!! I wouldn't dare mention how many more days mostly because I don't want to think about it myself! Stop by next week, I'll show you the Advent Christmas tree I make for my grandkids for their rooms! Its a little time consuming but now that I have Designers Calendar it is so much easier!! They are already asking how much longer til they get it!! They are 5 and 6 now, and they love them!

Blog candy alert!
