Peachy Keen Challenge and AWESOME sale!

Good afternoon my blogger friends!
I had to have a card for my DIL's mother. Poor thing has been in the hospital for a couple of weeks! Bless her heart! She probably can't wait to get home and rest!! So I decided to use PKS Get Well Fairy! I love these stamps! They are from the June Stamp of the Month, found here! And they are having a huge sale right now! I wish I had enough money to buy more! This is the link to the challenge.

Isn't this little fairy adorable!?! I need some more colors of markers though! I first cut it out using watercolor white paper with my Silhouette Cameo and the SVG's that you also receive when you get the Stamp of the month. Then used Tim Holtz markers to color and then used waterbrush to blend and Sakura's glitter pen to add sparkle. And I love these swing cards! When I saw these stamps this type of card jumped out at me, "poof" is perfect for this! IMHO, anyway! The border punch is Anna Griffins punch from a set of 3 that I got on HSN.Unfortunately they sold out! They are so beautiful and intricate. Perfect for smaller cards with not much room for borders! The paper is from Martha Stewarts Seasons Paper pack also purchased from HSN. I'm addicted to double sided paper lately!

Cricut Circle blog weekly challenge #42: World Card Making Day

Hello friends! I love making Halloween cards for  my grandkids! And especially easel cards! This one is for Faith! She will love it! hope you do too! I made 1 similar to this last year for my DGS and he hung it on his bulletin board and called me and asked several times "how did you do that?!!" He was only 6! He appreciates everything. And he gets so much for Christmas and his birthday and he always remembers who gave him what! even a couple years later, he'll say remember when you gave me this Nana?! don't tell him, but sometimes I don't until he reminds me! So this 1 is for Faith, it was easier because of the Imagine and Enjoy the Seasons, and it doesn't really look as scary to me but Faith will love it anyway!

"Raven" glimmer mist on the background paper behind the haunted house. If you click on the pic it should enlarge and then you can see the glimmer mist better. Its really pretty IRL!

The paper looks 2-toned orange, but its only 1 color, the color is closest to the orange on the left hand side.

Boo! Challenge #4 at Cricut Circle Entry

Good morning ladies!
I created this for the Circle blog weekly challenge. They wanted us to: create a Halloween project that incorporates some kind of transparent element (vellum, acrylic, plastic packaging, overlay, etc.) and use 2 cuts from Cricut.


I used vellum and colored it yellow for the windows although the yellow isn't showing up much, but neither is the glitter on the background. Its really pretty in real vision! that background is covered with a glitter glue from Elmers that also has stars and some moons. (That moons doesn't sound right?!) I used the house from October 31 and the fence and bat and "happy haunting" from Happy Hauntings. The trick or treaters border is an svg from "images by heatherm". Click on the "svg" it will take you there to get a copy!! I couldn't wait to use it! It's so cute! That adorable owl in the tree has real feathers! it was in a package by Jolee's Boutique and was sent to me by my Cricut Circle Sister as well as the little ghost! Its transparent and adorable too but doesn't show up well in this pic either.

Well I decided to make it an easel card and send it to my grandson! that picture didn't show the border as well!  Depends on the lighting! took them outdoors but several hours apart!
